The restyled hotel – which was originally designed by Emery Roth in the early twentieth century –  turned the splendour of the historic building into a sober, elegant, and contemporary blend of materials, furnishings, colors, and coatings, which make it a must-see destination in the Big Apple. The hotel has 200 rooms, a restaurant, spa, and a conference centre, as well as a permanent art gallery.
