Situated in the heart of Padua, the project (overseen by architecture firm Studio Marco Piva) emphasises the existing volumes in acknowledgment of the historical value of the building that houses it, establishing a functional continuity between the Art Nouveau architecture and the interior design. The result is a home in which the wall and floor coverings and finishes were designed entirely ad hoc, accompanied by a high level of customisation throughout, from the use of lavish materials such as marble (carefully redesigned and reinterpreted in both the floor, wall, and surface tiling) to the metals, woods, and glass chosen for trims.
